Prerequisites

Docker Desktop installed and runningGet Docker
Node.js 18 or higher (for manual installation)Get Node.js

Installation Steps

Download DevOps XLabs App

After downloading, simply run the installer and follow the setup wizard.

Run the DevOps XLabs App

Double-click the DevOps XLabs App icon from your Start Menu or Desktop.

The app will automatically start the Docker agent and open a window.

Verify Connection

Once the app is running:

  • The app window will show the connection status
  • It will automatically redirect to the DevOps XLabs platform
  • The status at the top of this page should show "Connected" ✅

You can now start running labs directly in your browser!

If the download button doesn't work, you can get the app directly from GitHub:

Download the appropriate file for your platform:

  • Windows: DevOps-XLabs-App-Setup.exe
  • macOS: DevOps-XLabs-App.dmg
  • Linux: DevOps-XLabs-App.AppImage

Uninstall DevOps XLabs App

Remove the DevOps XLabs App from your system if no longer needed

Uninstall via Control Panel

  1. Open Control Panel → Programs and Features
  2. Find "DevOps XLabs App" in the list
  3. Click Uninstall and follow the prompts

Or via Settings App

  1. Open Settings → Apps → Apps & features
  2. Search for "DevOps XLabs App"
  3. Click the three dots → Uninstall
